From the very start of their venture I've been supplying my friends Justin and Alison of Borrel in Toronto with illustrations and art work. I've seen them grow from strength to strength with their Dutch food pop-ups at some of Toronto's hippest bars. After several sell-out events they decided to take the plunge and start their own bar/restaurant!

This year my boyfriend and I, instead of putting ourselves through the hellish experience called Christmas shopping, thought we'd give our families home made gifts. I've had a few requests for prints of these birds I did in ink and Ecoline, and now I got some beautiful giclée prints made. They're printed on 310 gsm Hahnemuhle German Etching paper, which has a fine texture, like watercolour paper...

Doodlers Anonymous is a really fun website about ehm well doodling and people who love to doodle. There are interviews, showcases and they've published two colouring books. Recently there was a call for doodlers to submit work for colouring book vol. 3 and here is my entry!
