This Sunday 3 May my better half Casper is putting on another night of New Orleans jazz at one East London’s most friendly pubs the Eleanor Arms. So I whipped up a little banner for his event. As part of the Dixie Nomands you will find Casper playing double bass, as well as the tuba, Bodo Maier on trumpet, Jules Cowie on guitar and Cosimo Keita Cadore on drums. Expect a few special guests as well! Harking back to the source of of jazz, they will be playing a variety of traditional and contemporary tunes from the great Creole melting pot of the Big Easy.
Free entry, music starts at 20.00. After a house band set, they’ll will open up the floor to musicians and singers who want to sit in with the Dixie Nomads. The last event was packed, so come early if you fancy a seat. As it’s a bank holiday weekend you’ve got Monday off so no excuses!
